Fitting White Dial Kit - Fuel & Temp Needle Problems

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction? the scenario is having popped all needles off the clock faces and fitting the new white dials I have found that both the temp. & fuel needles will not go back on? I don't think I've misplaced anything, so have I inadvertently broke the two clocks when popping the needles off or am I missing something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Rich

Hey Rich, I did this to my classic a few years back, and was told not to remove the needles, but cut dial kit (was lockwood at the time...)and prise on that way for fuel and temp. I still knackered the fuel needle and had to get spares :( Sorry to bring bad news but think you may need to ring a couple of breakers for spares :(

You must not touch or remove fuel / temp needle or they will break , yes remove speedo and rev needle as above says i left the black facia on the temp and fuel gauges and sliced the new white ones and slid in place , sounds like you will have to buy a new speedo cluster and swop or repair yours sorry for the bad news
