So what is the problem with Blobeye suspension?
I'm fully aware of the issue with the knocking on the blobeye shocks (had my own done twice under warranty  ) but I'm wondering what the actual problem is. :wonder:
Also:
Sorry if this has all been asked before. :Suspiciou |
The fix is short term I believe and was re-greasing some parts of the shock. Thats about as much as I know i'm afraid, sure someone else will be able to assist unless you find the info through search first.
I was lead to believe it's 100% safe just an annoying noise. |

Thanks for that Dave :thumb:

What aftermarket struts can one use? Which is better for street use - aftermarket strut or coilovers? And which make?

since had prodrive springs added and the guy who fitted them said the shock was very worn, but he greased them up and there's been no noise at all since he done them (about 3-4 months) i think i read on here that the shock sits at a funny angle and that's what produces the premature wear. dunno how true this is though. |
I used to jack mine up once a month (ish) and leave the rear wheels off the ground over night. Worked a treat for a short while but the knocking does come back. Ive now switched to coil overs and all round i feel the car is much better.
