common for the plug connection under the back seat to corrode etc..

check for power at this plug and at the pump etc.

alternatively of course the pump could have failed.

i can power the pump up and run the car from the plug under the seat with a power probe. so i would say pumps ok.

cheers

The Meta alarm/immobiliser on my 01 WRX did the same thing, internal realy died permanently immobilising the fuel pump.
Not sure where the wiring goes on the classic but I found the wiring fairly easily and just bypassed it until I got another alarm.

you will not get any wiring diag for your alarm/immobilizer for security reasons so specialist (appoved fitter only) but it sounds to me like a wire break down from the pump relay (in drivers door kick) to the connector under the back seat has become quite common fault on early classics as jgm is trying to point out to you..if its the immobilizer (Fuel pump curcuit break) at fault then may be able to help pm me!!!

i have power out of the relay but none at the black conector witch is in good condion. but wasnt sure if it then went throu the sigma alarm unit.
will check the wiring again from relay to pump:rolleyes:
