suspension options

Right, firstly i know this is suposed to be in the technical forums but it gets more veiws here.

I thought i was 100% on getting a set of coilovers for my classic, but since reading about them on here, would i be better off just keeping the suspension i have now(standard with lowering springs) and getting strut braces, ARB's, ALK and other bits to firm up the ride, rather than getting strut braces which may be very harsh on our roads.

i will be using the car for weekend use, and the occasional track day.

If your suspension is o.k. add ALK, ARB's, etc. do the geometry and then change to coil-overs when you get seriuosly into trackdays.
Mine is std STI suspension plus a raft of Whiteline & Cusco stuff, but at nearly 7 years old it will have to be APEX/BC coil-overs next for me.

I was on the first group buy for the Apex coilovers. Have been very happy with them. Done about 20,000 miles with them.
