what you think?
Hi all
I have a 04 sti ppp was just wondering if i fit a good de cat 3.5 aps pipe and simtek or hydra ecu with a remap what power could i expect:norty: |
anyone with a bit of know how
|
you will need a bigger turbo to make it worth the while :), otherwise it will only gain you a few bhp more
|
I,d say 340ish i guess, maybe 10bhp either side, probably people on here will say more...

Thanks stiscooby that sounds good mate is it a big enough increase to make it worth while ?
And where did you get the zorst from ? |
what would be the best turbo to go for then ? wanting around 380 or less but most of all i want to be on the boost so low down the revs spool up please :)
|
If you have a PPP'd car then stick with the sports cat, you lose virtually no performance with one of these fitted (plus you will pass those MOT's and road side emission tests ;)) but a remap with a decent filter and exhaust will see you for about 350bhp :)

Thanks tony:thumb:
Only reson i was going de cat as wanted anti lag etc and read it eats cats And i now have found a garage that gets your car though for under £50 on the mot front:norty: but i have been looking at tsl exhausts and one they do with the sport cat says anti lag proof so may go down that route The pwr you mentioned is what i am after really dont want to be too excessive or be stopping at shell every 100 mile:lol1: |

And where did you get the zorst from ? I can't really say, as all the work which was done on my car was done by the previous owner, all I know is it goes like feck :D From looking through the receipts I think the Exhaust came from/fitted at what was WRC Technologies (purchased as a upgrade pack i think), although I think I am correct in saying they are no longer in business?? |
Wrc tec at silverstone ill have a check up mate thanks again buddy:thumb:
