Saxo VTS rear beam, 22mm torsion bars
Polycarb windows
Fully seam welded, with rollcage
Plus more stuff i'm sure that i've forgotten

A leon cupra with a revo remap is absurdly good value for money. Would tempt me back to a FWD hot hatch for sure.

That depends on the car though, and how it gets its power down. When I had my 200bhp 205 I would be mostly agrreing with you as I could never get the power down in that, especially in the wet, but my ST is totally different and drives more like an AWD vehicle, even when wet.
