I met this guy recently that had a "Colin Mcray special edition Impreza, with twin turbos as standard". He didnt know what car I drove, and was talking very loudly about it. I really enjoyed the look on his face when he realised I had busted him, and was asking loads of questions about it. :D You gotta love pubs.

must take it from 215BHP to at least 300 bhp as thats what most EBAY chavs say cars are running that they are selling!

Mate don't under estimate your power hike. I honestly think its closer to 350bhp. You do know how much more pure oxygen the filters (for the twin turbo's) let through. Man your under-estimating like a proper normal person here dude.

might as well spend £30 quid more and make it a 500bhp monster with some of that instant 30 bhp gain!

A mate of mine recently swapped from a HKS exhaust to another make, fitted a BOV and an air filter & gained 60 horses in a morning. I therefore will be fitting an electric supercharger and a panel filter off ebay for a minimum of 100 hp extra!

If I was to fit 2 electric superchargers & drill my airbox would that give me closer to an extra 200 though?

Yep see it all the time....had a fella crashed a 96 wrx near my home one time and some of the 'locals' maintained:

"....not much wonder he crashed it, it was running over 600bhp, a real monster, i seen it going...."

And gotta laugh at the crazy bhp figures people get with a few bolt-on's and an air filter. Like a fella told me one time his 'mate' had a 2 litre redtop corsa (150bhp) which was chipped and had an exhaust/filter, again it was pushing out 220bhp+:Suspiciou :Suspiciou

My old Cav GSI was 150 ATW with only exhaust filter and chip. ;)

My Scooby made 236bhp at TEG a couple of years ago, overboosting and therefore fuel cutting on the rollers.

After that, added a Walbro pump, FMIC, IK, and changed the Magnex exhaust that was on for a Nur Spec R. I think thats it, oh turned the boost down too.

Made nearly 100bhp more, from bolt on's. ;)

Yep, ENVY if they dont have a more powerfull car then a friend of a friend does. Always the same and usually heard in the pub. Or even worst when they try to pick fault at yours:mad: :mad: "yes its got 500bhp, but my mates nova will do 80 miles to the gallon" or "an evo is a faster point to point car" :mad: :mad: irritating and pointless quotes. Best off staying away from car conversations all together or at least until you get on here with normal people again :lol1: :lol1:

I'm with you on this one. I know someone who had a standard classic wrx dyno'd at 256bhp. He fitted some 'ebay' headers,'ebay' chip,panel filter,decat exhaust and with a bleed valve raised the boost slightly. On the same dyno it made 300bhp with 320lb/ft and goes very well on the road. His torque figure is so high for his mods that he took it back and had it dyno'd a few months later and made 298bhp with 318lb/ft :thumb:

I run my tyres at 38psi all round so its lighter and faster and easily knocking on 440bhp with the tints and lip spoiler I added ;)

Im running 214.9 so pretty much everyone is running more than me, makes things easier. :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

I only have 130 in my '$hitty' Pug - as someone put it:lol1:

Mine has just got a centre decat with a stainless back box that gives it a nice burble and a simota panel filter, so am guessing about 220bhp, guy who used to work at same place said his mate had " a proper scooby with the big spoiler on ":lol1: I drive a turbo wagon btw, had to walk away from him or all hell would have broke loose :norty:
