sealant for rear clusters??
 

I'm gonna be changing rear clusters, what sealant should i use. the remains on the replacement ones is black and very sticky???
help please

we use roof and gutter sealant from wickes m8 . closest thing we've found to the original sealant .
Wickes – Adhesives and Sealants – Sealants – Specialist Sealants – Roof & Gutter Sealant

The correct stuff is Carafax non-setting mastic, available, so I'm told, from Halfords, although mine came from a caravan dealers.

It comes in a tube like silicone, fits in a standard mastic gun, and mine is light grey, although I believe black to be out there too;)

DO clean all the old stuff off as best you can, plus any dirt, and don't forget the area on the car's body that they seat onto.;)
