disaster

Me and a friend started removing my engine from the car this evening. Got the engine nigh on ready just the gearbox to unbolt when my monkey of a mate some how managed to snap the m6 bolt that you screw into the clutch fork to remove it. i tried getting the pliers on it but no good as there is about half a mm to grab what a nightmare.

any body got some ideas:wonder:

I decided to cease with the 'f*ck their sister' advice upon the introduction of the infraction system...

Remove the rubber cover around the clutch fork, and try using some long nose plyers to push the piveot bar through, put some WD40 around the piveot bar.
If you score the surface doing it, just polish it off with some wet and dry

Big_Dan531 09 July 2008 09:20 PM

drill a left hand thread drill bit in to it should lock in side th bolt and un do it
