Guys

What file does outlook express use to store the emails. ie pst files for outlook.
I'm not sure, but I think outlook express stores its files in the Application Data folder within your profile. Is this correct?

Thanks

Try in Outlook express, "Tools/Options/Maintainence/Store Folder" for the location.

Normally its located in :
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{Load of crap alphanumeric like this E244D714-9D33-47A1-A0B9-FE1850B8F912}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Cheers H, forgot to say I had a look there.

Once I get to the AD4543-dfASD£4 folder. I find that the microsoft folder isn't there  even though outlook says thats where it stores my files :)

I'll keep hunting, put as soon as my PC is rebuilt I for one am ditching this express crap.

Why not export out of Outlook Express into Outlook 200x then move the pst file??

Doh! was clicking to early

was missing out local setting folder, instead I was going
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Identities\{Load of crap alphanumeric like this E244D714-9D33-47A1-A0B9-FE1850B8F912}\
