will depend on your suspension, i had 225/40/18 on my classic wrx it had been lowered 25-30mm and it rubbed on inner arch on nearly every tight corner, and taking more than 2 passangers was a big no no

I had 215/35/18 on mine, lowered on coil overs and it didnt rub or catch on anything............. until i changed my wheels and now it does!:wonder: I assume the new wheels are a different offset or something?
