what bird did i see today?
about the size of a pidgeon with the markings of a "tit" its call was a very fast clicking sound............................................. ..............

so you saw a pigeon that was firm and round with a nipple on its head that was making a clicking sound

The only tit-like Jay I can think of is the one who used to go out with Denise Van Outen but doesn't anymore. He must be mad :rolleyes:

Easy mistake, it was probably some 15 year old mum of four waiting to be picked up by one of the fathers of the four kids... hence the clicking sound

I saw some great tits in town at the weekend :D

You'll find that as the weather gets warmer and the year go's on, there will be many more tits on display, sunning themselves and generally enjoying the better weather and longer days, getting ready for the breeding season.

Yes it was a jay,
i was bladdered walking across a field from the pub after watching the united game. and its noise made me look up and i noticed its strange markings,

i was quite surprised as its either wood pidgeons or bloody noisy magpies near us
