Anyone any experience of these guys?

nope lol when i had my a4 tdi i took it to obd diagnostics in ballymena for a remap and they did a gr8 job.
depends wot u want. AI in ballymena remapped my classic a few weeks ago and did an awesome job |
its for the wifes Ford TDCI.

Mate had his tdi golf up with them very good results all lot of the oilburners rant about them being the best.
very tuneable them dervs wonder if I could get my vito done lol |
Have heard OBD in Ballymena are the current faves....cousin got his A6 done there, and they were able to tell him bout a faulty air flow meter, prior to mapping, then they mapped it, ordered the part fitted and re mapped the car for the set fee, no extra charges at all......

ive had my 110bhp tdi bora there, and my 70bhp hdi 207. My wee brother has taken his 2.0hdi 306 to them and to be honest i would swear by torquetronix and they do a diagnostic check on all the relevant sensors br=efore they start the remap. A tdci will be no problem to them. I don't think they do too much with petrol cars so for petrol i would probably leave that up to A1 autosports.:thumb:

obd did my a4 and did a crackin job
ring ryan 07759366244 and tell him Jamie sent you and he will look after you ;) |
Wishart mapped my MK4 golf anni 1.8T. Excellent job.

When i was thinking of getting this done to my previous car i searched the net, and OBD were the only people i couldn't find a bad report about. That would be enough to sway me to them. A colleague got his audi a3 130bhp done the other week for £235 by OBD, he's well happy. I really noticed the difference in the higher gears, still has a bit of a kick low down but very smooth throughout the rev range.

Adam what reports did you here about T.T?
PM me if you dont want to post it up here |
TT mapped my combo 1.7dti works van, took it from 75 bhp to 105! great service from a friendly guy and total car nut!
wouldnt go past him again.:thumb: |
I don't mind posting at all, at the end of the day i read a couple of poor reports on another forum, they may be true or not. I just remembered reading about a couple of guys who had experiences with bad clutch slip, and one of them took their car to OBD and they sorted it out. I couldn't find a bad word said about OBD (maybe i didn't search hard enough), but one guy said they made a point of not going all out for power, and putting real stress on the car. These things would be enough to make me choose OBD, i was certainly impressed with my mates a3.

You see this is the thing I'm not looking for the max BHP/Torque from the car, standard they are about 134bhp and was looking this taken upto around 150-160bhp as its in daily use so I dont need hassles like clutch slip, etc.Just looking it smoothed out a little and a few extra horses.TT says above 170BHP is no problem for the 2.0 TDCI as at standard its in a very mild state of tune from the factory.
