I wrote a semi transparent VERY BASIC web browser, which you're welcome to mail me at michael.toye@bmw.co.uk |
How is it stealthy?
Steve. |
It's virtually transparent (variable), so when my boss walked past he didn't see it.
:) Next trick, removing scoobynet from IIS logs! |
Cool.

remove ScoobyNet from logs will be difficult without access to the server logfiles (plain text for MS Proxy server/IIS), but another way is to proxy using a remote server. We used to use SafeWeb when dodgy sites were needed :) rich |
That's one way but a sniffer will still show all the requests. The best way is to create a reverse ssh tunnel that binds to one of your local ports (say 8080) and connects to the remote proxy port, set your browser to proxy to http://localhost:8080/. Not only will your requests be encrypted so no-one with a sniffer can see anything but you can let other people on your LAN use it as well, although their requests will be LAN-visible because of the requests to your port.
