Iridium spark plugs ( any feed back )
hi, im thinking of installing NGK Iridium spark plugs to my 04 wrx ( prodrive) has any one fit these and give me any feed back
cheers |
If they're denso/hks id inadvise, electrode tips have been known to break off and kill said engine.
Ngk on the otherhand have been superb, car fires up fine every morning, can be a bit grumpy when cold but that just tends to be a scoob trait anyway but once warmed she flies along. |
Sorry to hijack but im thinking of fitting some ngk iridium plusg as the ngk pfr7b's i have now gapped to 0.7mm are causing a missfire at 1.5+ bar boost, they just seem a bit pricey at £25 per plug.:wonder:

You can buy them on ebay for much less.

These are typically what you'd run on a classic sti and ran fine when mine was a standard wrx, as you can see by chasing the exact type you get much better prices.
hth eBay.co.uk - BKR7EIX items at low prices Those plugs work on all models iirc. |
