Help needed fitting gauges.
Hi peeps, i got a twin pillar pod with a auto gauge boost gauge and oil temp gauge, does any 1 know how to fit them?? i got quoted £80 to have them fitted:eek2: :( any of u ladds wanna fit them for cheaper?:D
Much appreciated:thumb: |
It's simple other than the electrics which a mate did for me, if I can do it anyone can :D
For the boost gauge you will need some vacum tube and then insert it into the rubber hose and cable tie it tight... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...3player024.jpg Follow the rubber hose on mine to the manifold where there is a spare inlet, if you check yours you will see it has a rubber blanking plug just remove that. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...3player023.jpg Run the vacum hose through the rubber grommit that goes into the passenger foot well then feed this up behind the dash it will come out in the drivers side window corner with no problem at all. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...3player022.jpg Jobs a good un :thumb: Oil temp..... have you got a sandwich plate supplied with that one ? |
