FP Green is on a par with the MD321T - it is a 450 bhp turbo ot a 400 bhp turbo like the H

The guys at Mocom Racing or Scooby Mania will be able to answer any of your FPG related questions.
Im in the middle of a forged 2.5 build and have a green waiting to be fitted :D As dynamix said above, the green is spec'd to compete with that of the MD321T and is a 450/450 rated turbocharger. From what ive seen it is i very serious contender to that of the 321T at a more affordable price. |
sounds like the one im looking for then:luxhello:
|
Frayz,
If you are having a proper 2.5 built why not go for an AET standard fit turbo. I run one of theirs and have well over 500bhp at 1.7bar. Not many people doing that on standard fit turbos with just pump fuel. :) Circa 400bhp per ton - yes thanks! :D Compare that with 305bhp per ton of a brand new 911 997 Twin Turbo Porsche for £100k. :D Regards, Shaun. |
The Porsche is probably quicker than yours though :p ;)

When you say its spec'd to compete with the the 321T do you mean its not the normal FP Green which is a TD06-49 moe or less ? How many FP Greens are there ? Renno |
It is a little more flexible in set up that the T in that you can change and upgrade elements of it to suit the driving style, engine size etc.
In its lowest form it competes very nicely but can go slightly more if you need to upgrade it without having to change to a different turbo - a kind of in built future proofing :thumb: |

So a nice reliable 450/450 will do i think. |
also consider the GT30 hybrid from Alan Jeffery - Engine Tuner

what has that got to do with an FP green?
|
I was replying to a previous post on here (which was quoted in mine) yet that passed without comment!!
You're a touchy bugger aren't you? First the intercooler thread now this one? A touch of turbo envy maybe? :P Back in your box tough guy :cuckoo: As to what its got to do with FP Green, aren't people allowed to be shown other alternatives. |
If you read this thread - you will note that there were comments made on that post.
Not touchy just couldnt understand what your post had to do with anything apart from saying- oh look at my turbo. I am pleased for you. |
I was right, turbo envy.
