Unconnected 'plug' on sti type R
Hello
Have discovered an unconnect plug in my engine bay, its situated close to the driveres side near the suspention strut. Its white in colour and not attached to anything. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...9/DSC00205.jpg the above is it close up http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...9/DSC00206.jpg the above is taken further back any ideas what its used for and if it should be plugged somewhere?, i can seem to see where it goes. |
Has the car got a decat? its probably for the cat fire sensor

Looks to be near the MAF sensor but that's just a wild guess! I'd suggest asking on here... 22B Bulletin Board |

How manny wires? I have one with about 6 near that mounted on the Air box. cant see any others that colour.
|
As mentioned above, it is for the "cat on fire" sensor - The wire to the sensor runs down the side of the bulkhead and chassis leg :)
