Zero Sports are a tuning company so i guess you may have 1 of their chips in the new ecu David Hendry Cars - TVR, Subaru, Isuzu & Ssangyong Specialists in Wiltshire do a lot of zero sports stuff.

As far as I am aware only two were mapping the 97/98 ecu in the uk and with a daughter board.. but neither of them do it anymore to my knowledge.

So even if it was mappable no one is doing it.. etc..

daym, back to square 1, ill have to get something re-mappable.

apparently the ecu came from a 1999/2000 car

myblackwrx 21 June 2007 09:53 PM

Remappable ecus arew Motec ,Gems ,Apexi power fc (hard to find for early imprezas now),Hydra,Link and PolarPerformance.
I'm sure they are more.

Jolly Green Monster 21 June 2007 10:04 PM

I cannot see the pictures from here  need a better mobile.. lol

but if it is an Sti4 ecu then is cannot be mapped, if it is a 99 or 00 then it won't fit your car assuming it is a 98?

I do apologise don't mean to leave anyone out:) as obviously you do it and i think Bob Rawle mentioned doing it

Scott.T@PolarPerformance 21 June 2007 10:32 PM

Yes Bob is doing them....and so am I ;) incase no-one realised :D:D:D

muddymotox 21 June 2007 10:42 PM

i only bought that ecu because i was told it can be remapped.

balls.

I was given a apexi power fc with the commander for 50quid last year but it was a 4 plug one so it didnt fit my car.

it looked quite good tho.

so it that ecu i got useless?

muddymotox 21 June 2007 11:06 PM

Would this be any good and what would the remapping costs be like?
