Best way to refit engine

What is the best way to refit a block. Without the manifolds and turbo? or all put together.

Cheers Chris..

I will be doing it myself with a winch.

Chris. IMO i would fit the engine complete. Timing belt the lot. Its far simpler this way. Then its a case of connecting the downpipe and the relevant sensors..

Thanks dude, I was just worrying about keeping the box and block lined up, and I thought the less weight the better. I will build it all up first though.

Chris..

I find everything on except the headers.. allows more clearance on front cross member.. although the standard headers do allow reasonable clearance.

I had to manually lift the engine a bit over the front crossmember when I was taking it out so I think I will keep them off.

yes.. it will go back in with them on.. it is just easier wihtout them on.. and they are not that bad to fit afterwards.
