De-tango as per my thread earlier today (although it cost £13 for bulbs). Otherwise the rear-light swap over (see same thread).

Does the poor-man's short shift really make a diff?

feels alot tighter now

stuck an advert in the free ads to sell my subaru :p

SwissTony 23 April 2007 04:20 PM

debadged the car....used an old credit card and my mates hairdryer (hence his electricity so free :D )

also the mirror finish SS sills were looking tatty and worn with numerous scrapes and scuff marks..didnt want to spend on some new ones, so bit of wet and dry and some cleaning and ...we have brushed aluminium sills :D

Best free mod, deffo debadging.

The rear lOOks less cluttered and meaner. Now you can lOOk at it without trying to read it.

It just says STi

Thats the only bit I did take off!!!

I think it looks a bit too much without anything although I may take off the WRX to just leave STI and type UK in the future

What did you cut it down with? I thought about this as with the sparco aftermarket gear knob it feels like first gear is out the window... lol

Surely the hacksaw took longer than 5 mins to get through that thickness?
