How old is the car etc etc.
its a 93 wrx import
might be the wheel bearing
Have you jacked the car and spun the wheel and checked for any play, vertical and horizontal?
i was thinking of it being one of two things either the cv joint or the wheel bearing .but you only hear the noise when you turn the wheel
not yet might pop down to my friends garage and pop it on his mot ramp and get him to have a look aswell
A wheel bearing would be more WU WU WU WU WU WU, if you get me..
this is more like a click click click
This could turn into jibberish!!
Doesn't sound like it gonna be a bearing or CV if its just a click. Like I said, if you jack it and spin the wheel in question it'll be quite easy to find. Its more than likely gonna be something around the braking system, a loose spring, or shim. It if is remove the pads and refit correctly with copper grease. Or it may be as simple as debris stuck somewhere. |
cv joint I would say
cheers for info will pop it in to my mates garage and get it on his ramp
