Try owning a Land Rover or a Volvo.
Subarus are only expensive if your used to Fords or similar. Over the term of ownership the costs are outweighed by things not going wrong. |
do it urself, all oil replacements are easy enough.
discs/pads,easy enuff. only hard thing is cambelt,do all other stuff urself at a cost of about £100 and cambelt costs £200 from main stealer, £300 saving |

Even cambelt can be DIY as at least you can get to it once rad is removed. I need one changing on my Citreon and I would not even attempt it - esp. as my neighbour will do it for £70.00 incl. belt :D

i know main dealers are expensive but everytime i cant help thinking theyve fleeced me...!!!
|
no need to remove the rad to do a belt plenty of room with it in there, and as for specialists not ripping people off yeah right!
