That'll be the VTA dump valve then .. mine did the same until I plumbed it back into the intake.

Did you change injectors, fuel pressure reg ( or increase fuel pressure ? ) or forget to put back on the vac line to fuel pressure reg or dump valve? Would mean losing air and running rich / like a pig.

Fun meet tonight, several new guys with nice motors - a 2.5l classic, big power rotated mount Garret GT30.40 turbo / fmic /apexi etc. classic, stickered up wagon, silver super shed, and more!

Everything plumbed in, just think I have a total mismash of hoses for the fmic kit. Not changed fuelling or moved the vac line for the reg. I got the fmic from your friends who did your engine!! Think my issue is with the throttle body to pipe connector hose, its a 70mm to 63mm reducer, but it should be 70mm to 60mm. (I got the 70mm to 63mm myself as no stock of 70mm to 60mm at the time - one supplied with kit was a straight connector of 70mm  )
Samcos now just arrived from demon tweeks so hopefully sort out this evening or tomorrow morning then finally hopefully I can run decent ish boost again with better consumption.
