Got stuck behind a Citreon 2CV tonight on the way home. I in my Fiesta (station car ok) trundling along at breakneck speeds of upto 35mph!!!! As we trundle down the long hill to Eridge he reaches speeds of 45mph..... when his roof disintigrates.
Cruel I know but I laughed... and laughed... kind of made up for missing a train by 1 minute and then the train I caught being 15 minutes late. Sorry for this irrelevance. Dave |
Dave,
It can work the other way you know... ...I was on the m-way in traffic and a 328i convertible came past with massive rear quarter damage, and I laughed my head off, only to have an accident ten minutes later. Sods law and all that! Jim. |
When we had all the floods I was doing my job on nights H G V driver. Picture this A19 Thornaby low side Boro a Merc was floating and I mean floating infact when a 4x4 drove through the Merc bobbed up and down. Let me tell you I laughed and laughed I bet he wished he had not tried to jump the queue. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

A couple of years back, one very icy morning a neighbour went out and poured a kettle of boiling water over her windscreen to clear the thick ice - serve her right if the windscreen cracks I think, starting up the heated front screen on my Mondeo.
Guess whose windscreen cracked ten seconds later....... |
