Include muffler type, brand, diameter, etc. -Huff:D |
Standard Rover 420 SLi OEM ...... nice and quiet 1 inch diameter :D :D :D
|
US word - "muffler" - ie makes things a bit quieter
Brit word - "exhaust" - ie draws the exhaust fumes away so you don't die ! Anyway - Prodrive bb, Hayward & Scott centre section, decat, deresonated (deeper burble, but very "stealth" !). |
muffler is the back box only - scoobysport btw :)
|
blitz nurspec R
full blitz nurspec R system, 3inch all the way
|
full scoobysport system inc decat, sounds nice and quite until high revs, very pleased....justin..
|
3" straight through, Magnaflow "muffler"
|
Prodrive sports cat and centre decat with Scoobyclinic 3" middle and rear. Crisp without being unacceptably loud (ie the neighbours don't camplain).
|
H&S 3" Decat Downpipe, wrapped.
Revolution 3" Cat Back (4.5" slash cut) Quiet exhaust, still rumbles, but not offensive. Poor quality finish on backbox! Previous system: Afterburner Decat 2.5" Ninja Backbox 2.5", (4.5" slash cut) Awesome noise, but very loud, no talking in car under throttle. Plenty of pop/bangs and would wake the dead. (Yes, i miss it!!) |
Blitz NUR Spec R innit, accept no substitute
|
haywatd and scott full system turbo down 3" all the way to a 4.5" backbox fantastic burble.
|
Big mouth 3" DP witha Nur Pec R, wouldn't do it any other way!
|
Magnex 2.5" DP
Magnex centre with resonator Magnex 6"x4" oval On my wagon I find this quite droney on long motorway runs and some of you may laugh but a bit to loud on a cold mornings at 6am when my neighbours are still asleep. Quite fancy swapping backbox for a prodrive one. |
TSL Thundercat downPipe, TSL decat Center, TSL Firestorm Backbox! -- If you DONT do many motorway miles and you like it LOUD--- Its perfect!
On the other hand ..... if you do alot of motorway miles...... its will drive you NUTS!!! lol - its one of those love / hate things!!! |
blitz nur spec r full 3" turbo back
|
TSL Grp A Decat Downpipe
Scoobyclinic unresonated centre section (stainless steel) Scoobyclinic Japcut backbox (think its 4" ) Nice at idle, very loud for motorway driving (which I do most off), but hey I like it. |
TSL Stainless Steel Headers
TSL Stainless Steel Up-Pipe TSL Stainless Steel De-Cat Down pipe TSL Stainless Steel De-Cat Centre pipe TSL Stainless Steel ‘Firestorm’ Back-Box |
Oh yea sorry guys, in the U.S. the "muffler" is the "backbox"...The "exhaust" in the states is all the piping+the "muffler"+headers, etc....(the whole system) I was asking for muffler (backbox) specifications because I'm still deciding what to get.
