Question on TGVs ... again sorry!

I have a spare complete Inlet manifold inc tgvs, fittings & coil packs sitting in my garage.

After doing a search and trying to understand the benifits of the TGV delete, removing the inlet to paint and the green brackets etc is it worth the hassle to have a nice clean engine bay....... to me yes!!

So with the spare lot sitting about, should I send the TGV part away to have them deleted (not on a remapp yet) if so, who does it and at what charge?

the next question is I bought a fuel rail off this auction site, "SAGE Performance" one which is supposed to be the same as the MRT one, maybe given the wrong info off other sites, can I fit this with a set of pink injectors and fit everything all over (inc VF34/35 not sure which one yet) at the same time before the remapp?

Thanks for your help,

S!

how do you plan to "delete"

if your planning on totally removing you will have to do something about the cel light, and I can't remember any mapper saying they can remove this, most people i talk to think it can be done but not sure

you could always cable tie the motors somewhere else if it was a problem

im not sure how much they are going to charge you for the work but might be worth noteing a jdm manifold ( no tgv) is £200 + vat and comes in that STI red ;)

My TGV delete CELs were removed with an Ecutek remap.
As Rich says, its probably cheaper to buy (IRO £120) a JDM STi or Spec manifold than get than have the work done.
Saying that, I'm not aware of anyone even doing the work in the UK as TGV deletes don't seem to have caught on - unlike the US.
