Couple of Q's about a wired router.
Hi
I am looking to get a router because we have a home PC & I often work at home on my laptop & both need often to be connected to the Internet (me for work, home PC for kids) It has to be wired rather than wireless (because we have a wireless cctv system & it will interfere (so I am told)) We have rather a big house, so the router will be in my office and a wire will need to go to the home PC. Can this wire go partly outdoors? Rather than feed it through the house (& several rooms) its far easier to run it from my office, outside, and into the kids room. Any thoughts? R. |
should be fine, have you thought about home plug network kits?

wireless should be fine, would get around all your probs and i'd be very suprised if it interfered with anything...
