Don't you just set the MTU to be a bit jumbo in size?
|
commands I have found dont seem to work, and I was thinking of around 9000
David |
#conf t
#mtu 9100 Something like that? |
conf t
int xxx (whatever the interface is) ip mtu 9000 exit write mem that's how i do it on me 877 but it err may be different on that device:) |
xxxxx#conf t

Hi, I don't think you can with those cards.
Whilst the supervisor and software look ok, there is a list of all modules that support Jumbos. See here (about two thirds down): Troubleshooting Baby Giant/Jumbo Frames in Catalyst 4000/4500 with Supervisor III/IV* [Cisco Catalyst 4000 Series Switches] - Cisco Systems |
Cheers, Ill have a read tomorrow :)
