Knock display on commander AND a knocklink?

My classic WRX has a knocklink that I fitted before my Power Fc and commander appeared. Since AndyF mapped the car I have had absolutely ZERO knocklink activity and the commander only shows a max of 14 for the knock. So I tested the old knocklink today by tapping the head of the bolt that secures the sensor with a screwdriver. All the lights lit up!!

So my question is this. Is there any point having a knocklink and a Commander for displaying knock if my engine is this quiet?

Is the commander to be trusted?

Edited to say: PSLewis and his c**klink jokes are not welcome.

The commander is good enough to measure the Knock activity.
Your better off just selling the Knocklink.
To avoid you from keeping your eyes on the commander, the CEL light will flash on if there is any excessive det. Andy would have set the level of det that will activate the CEL.
