What about handling???
Performance figures???
How much will it cost(clear,low mileage 22b)??

munna 13 November 2000 02:39 PM

one is from Japan....and the other is erm....from japan!!
performance = very fast
handling = very hard
cost = twice the price of a second hand MY99 Impreza

Hope this is not too vague??....i can give you some more vague stat's if you wish??

IMPREZAIST 13 November 2000 02:48 PM

If you can give it will be better.
Thanks

22B Type UK has a special badge on the back. There are only 16 22B type UK cars.

i am salivating

There is so much crap about this.
The car is identical except for :
* The final drive was lowered to 3.9
* Driving lights and a Cat 1 alarm were fitted as standard
* MY99 headlights were fitted(adjustable height)
* The centre console was messed around with, lost double din stereo space. Headlight height adjuster dial put in.
* UK turbo rear light cluster with foglamp.
Otherwise my UK car is the same as any standard jap import.
(Sorry Paul, clutch is same exedy unit, many were replaced when the car was delivered as the transporter drivers burnt them out whilst loading and unloading http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif )
Don't ask me about handling comparisons, I haven't driven a std Japanese car.
Simon drove mine 'round Donington yesterday, I think he rated it about the same as the other ones he'd driven, no noticable difference between it and a standard Japanese spec car.

Seeing as the Muppet Show has been cleansed, shouldn't this thread be handed over to Mr Blow Dog. (him of the bleeding lip)
