Hi guy's..
Got a problem... my car is leaking BOOST & isn’t running as fast as it was before! Gutted!!!! Its a R reg Uk Spec Impreza 2000 Turbo How can I find it & sort it out directly myself, where do I look & what wire's or area of the car do I look? Under the car? Under the bonnet? If so can anyone send me a few links maybe or pictures would be great so that I know what to look out for... Also I got my car serviced at 60,000miles, after doing 300miles on the car my dump valve has started making less noise! My turbo kicks in at 2,000RPM & believe me when u change gear at 2,000RPM you can hear the dump valve go off! But now that ain't working as well anymore.. GUTTTED AGAIN. I have to give it a good few rev's up to 5,000RPM before I drive off to hear it go off & back it its self again.. Why does this happen? Then the following morning I though to my self maybe I should give it a tight up & see if there's anything else that might need a push in or so... So there I go with my screwdriver tighting up a few things here & there, also checking out a few sockets.. To make sure they are all clipped in properly.. Took the car for a nice drive around & surprisingly everything seems fine... Until............ I hear a noise which wasn’t there at all; it’s like a pressure noise coming out, (blow out from you nose that’s the sound im getting but at a really low volume) I’m thinking its coming from somewhere under the bonnet... It's a constant sound even when im not driving & the car is on standstill, when I’m parked up, warming up the car up & also when I’m driving it’s always there now! I know its not my induction kit because you’ll know when that’s kicking in for sure. Any help or idea’s on what it might be ? |
Anyone know what it might be ?:wonder:

Take it to a garage - you don't sound like you know much about cars.....
Better let an expert sort it out :) |
