MY99 key pad trouble,
I have a MY99 and the key fob battery went dead this morning, tried to input the key pad code for the first time ever. and nothing!!! alarm continued to sound etc, the code has letters in it i.e F and S? yet no letters on the key bad?? does t his mean i should press * where S is shown on the code? im a little confused and very late for work!!!
Cheers |
should be a 4 digit number code.
|
there are 4 numbers, but the code starts with an F has 2 numbers then and S then 2 numbers, wondered if the S meant press * and god knows what the F is? it looks like its the origional code printed on the sticky back label supplied with the car from new.
|
Just type in the numbers and all should be okay,
Mind you, thats providing the code hasn't been changed. I wasn't the first owner of my car and the previous owner had changed the code and not written it down!!!!!A quick trip to simpsons of swindon and they changed it FOC |
|
So no idea's what the F or the S stand for in the code? it's definatly the origional factory supplied code. but no letters on the key pad
