Watches
Hi Guys,
After a bit of advise please - as normal :) I want to get my Dad a new watch as a thank you present for helping me out recently. I'm looking to spend around 100 quid, so nothing exotic. Knowing his tastes, I think he'd like something that looks like this - http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/de...Ns=P_Brand%7c0 However, I know nothing about watches. Are Seiko any good (relative the the sort of money)? If not, what would people recommend around this price please - and where from too? Thanks, Steve |
I posted a question about poljot watches, these may be a bit more exclusive, do a google on them

Citizen, seiko, tissot all good for that kind of cash. Check out these

Most watches around that money aren't going to be fantastic especially 'dress' watches.
That said Poljot do some nice sports watches (don't know about dress watches) and Seiko are above average quality. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from H Samuels though. |
Thanks for this guys.
If not from H Samuel, where would you buy from Vapid? |

How about one of these for the old man?

SEIKO watches are brilliant .... :thumb:

Seiko are great watches, probably technically better than many "luxury" brands.

Thanks guys - much appreciated.
That Railway watch is a bit too trendy for my Dad I'm afraid Vapid :) |
For that sort of budget I'd definately go with a Seiko, have a look on Ebay for Seiko Kinetic Arctura models.
