Airline Liability
Hypothetical question for the NSR font of knowledge:
If I were traveling abroad for a couple of weeks and the carrier loses my luggage - be it stolen, lost, whatever. Is there a limit to their liability - such as the Montreal Convention or is this on a carrier by carrier basis? As I am obviously put at a great inconvenience having to buy new clothes and toiletries and there is also the value of the clothes and posessions that I had in my suitcase, not to mention the case itself... Has anybody any experience of this? TIA :) |
I'm sure the financial liability is stated on the back of the ticket, me thinks . . .Something like the Warsaw Convention (no - not the Warsaw Pact :Whatever_) - I I think its 10000 USD, but please don't quote me on that . .
