New Legal Challenge for Scameras.
Has anyone else noticed this new legal challenge from Robbie the Pict - he of the Skye Bridge toll story.
Anyway it may render all speeding convictions back to 1992 illegal! http://www.thisisnorthscotland.co.uk...=sidebarsearch http://www.pistonheads.com/speed/def...?storyId=14424 |
Can't undermine it soon enough for me:mad:
Thieving barstewards have been getting away with it for years:mad: And now they've got whole swathes of the country repeating their senseless "speed kills" mantra.  Alcazar |
intresting info!!

Can't see the IMF lending Flash the money to pay all the fines back though!
Serve this arrogant bunch of loonies right if Robbie the Pict wins. Les |
Yes. :lol1:
|
The problem is, though, that everyone who accepts a fixed penalty does so voluntarily, and hence those will stand as the evidence has not required to be produced in a court
Only convictions in the cout based upon camera/detector evidence are likely to be overturned if the legal point is correct. |
It seems unlikely that the legal point is correct, at least not in a general sense:
