Labour have taken a beating!!!

Bliar really has taken a kicking - they've lost 240seats :lol1:

The general public have clearly had enough of the lies, imcompetence, scandals - having political correct madness forced upon them, and having the country flooded with immigrants!

The decent hard working people in this country must be very happy :)

The Zohan 05 May 2006 08:20 AM

I think Ken Clarke and Johnny Prescott have done more to damage NL than the Tories or Lib Dims could have.

I did like Blairs soundbite the other day "Lets not judge us (NL) on the last nine days but on the last nine years" - HA,ha Tony which ever way you judge it you got buttfcuked mate.

Perhaps claiming £ 2700.00 expenses for Cheries hair was not such a good idea then either:)

NL's spin docs can do what they like to spin this result but NL have some real soul searching to do and a reshuffle of the cabinate is not gonna solve things, it does finally seem the light is dawning on the NL sheep.:)

Perhpas a remake of the D-REAM that NL lovedd so much how about 'Things can't get much sh!tter'

Dracoro 05 May 2006 08:21 AM

Ermmm, KEN Clarke????? ;) :D

kingofturds 05 May 2006 08:30 AM

Prescott has been called into no 10, hopefully we can kiss his lardy arse goodbye:D

SJ_Skyline 05 May 2006 08:31 AM

Oddly enough, Richard Littlejohn made the same Ken Clarke freudian slip on question time last night! ;)

As Bjørge Lillelien would have said;

"Tony Blair, Your boys took one hell of a beating!" :lol1:

MJW 05 May 2006 08:33 AM

Can we please refrain from having the words 'Prescott' 'kiss' and 'arse' in the same sentence ; the headlines from the past few days have made me feel sick enough !

The Zohan 05 May 2006 08:50 AM

I wonder if Blair will stand down now and hand the poison challace onto Gordon Brown - what's one more own goal matter

lightning101 05 May 2006 08:52 AM

First they lose all those released from prison and now 240 seats.

The police should have better use of their resources than searching for seating for ministers

Unless the seats are caught doing 45mph in a 30 zone then chances of detection are low;)

lightning101 05 May 2006 08:58 AM

Does john prescott get two seats by default ?

It shouldn't come as any great surprise though. After the last election and the reduced majority, TB stood there and said "This is a message that we need to listen more closely to the public", he walked off the stage and promptly carried on doing exactly what he had been doing. He's pressing on with stuff that people don't want.

Education is appalling, and for anybody that says standards are improving, you should have watched "That'll teach them" 20 odd kids getting 10 or more A and A* at GCSE who could only muster 13 O' Levels between them. I was stunned to hear they can take calculators in to exams, as well as annotated notes. You needed 65% to get a pass at O Level, in some GCSEs 16% will get you a pass.

The NHS is on the verge of melt down, there's figure fudging going on left right and centre and the billions being thrown at it are being swallowed up in red tape and management staff not nurses, doctors and equipment.

Petty crime is rife, there is no deterrant to kids or criminals in general, if the prisons are getting full, build more prisons, don't let them out early. If prison isn't acting as a deterrant, remove the luxuaries, make them do hard labour and introduce minimum rather than maximum sentences.

The economy is being bolstered by consumer debt and massive borrowing, it's going to need to be paid back and it's going to take years to do it and we'll see public services decline as the funds are no longer available to invest.

And breath...

I sat the first O Level when calculators were allowed, that was in 1985, how old are you? As for lower rates, remember the GCSE is supposed to cover the old CSE as well as O Level - you may well pass at 16% but with what grade? The equiv of a grade 4 CSE or summat - nothing worth wiping your arse on.

As for educational standards - do you think they've taught people how to spell "breathe" yet?;)

alcazar 05 May 2006 09:57 AM

Tony Blair! Gordon Brown! John Prescott! Your boys took a beating!

Charles Clarke! Blind man Blunkett! Tessa Jowell! Ruth (man) Kelly! Your boys took a beating!!!

Etc etc!

Oh, I love it!

Alcazar

I put "breath" and I meant "breath" as in "and take a breath", I'm guessing you didn't do too well in English comprehension? ;) :D

The Zohan 05 May 2006 10:20 AM

Flash Gordon - The man is inciteful!

On Sky news and i quote
"This is a shot across the bows" -Well spotted, i am sure things will change
"We (NL) must renew ourselves" - So would that be New, New Labour or Newest Labour or New Labour Part Deux. Maybe Newest Ever Labour or New Labour only newer!

Vegescoob 05 May 2006 10:20 AM

Backroom at NL HQ.
"Strategists" at work.
"What we gonna do?".
"Let's look at Constituency boundaries again, perhaps a bit of redrawing, population changes etc".
"We need some more "special grants" for certain areas, how much in that Lottery thingy?".

"Hmm, any chance of er, "fixing" the World Cup?".

Leslie 05 May 2006 11:26 AM

You must have been watching Question Time last night Paul-Ken? :) So you are in good company.

PSL will have run away of course, just like his fellow activists who have not yet thought of anything to say.

Its a lovely sunny day too. :D

Les

SJ_Skyline 05 May 2006 11:30 AM

Pete will be along in a bit, claiming victory since Labour won control of Lambeth ;)
