Ouch, sorry to see that.

Not sure where you stand, probably on your insurance? however it was in thier car and waiting for you to collect from them so push for them/thiers.

Witnesses???
Other vehicle details??

godd luck getting it sorted

jonnie c 28 April 2006 04:22 PM

They couldn't apoloigise enough to be fair to them and they've given me a loan car until its sorted. Plus it all goes through the dealerships insurance because it was under there care at the time!

Annoying though!

Neilo 28 April 2006 04:25 PM

did they give you an STI loan car? that may ease the pain a little...

jonnie c 28 April 2006 04:26 PM

pauld37 28 April 2006 05:39 PM

JTaylor 28 April 2006 06:58 PM

What are they going to offer in terms of compensation?

pslewis 28 April 2006 07:15 PM

Webbers Basingstoke?

Seems like they are being very fair and straight - good to see.

Bit of 'T'-Cut will have that out in no time! :D

Pete

jonnie c 28 April 2006 07:15 PM

I ain't paying for the service I'll you that!! That will be my compensation!!

Why should I pay to be without my car for a week or more and have paint on it!?!?

Lexx 28 April 2006 07:29 PM

I can only imagine how i'd feel if i got back to my car in a regular car park and found it like that!
If it had to happen, it seems to have been in the best place for it to happen, if you know what i mean?:wonder:

Good on 'em for coming straight out with 'our yard, our fault' statement so rapidly too. Reckon it 'cos they got the van driver monkey to go through his insurance, but still, they seem to have put your mind at rest asap. Bet they were really looking forward to you picking it up after that happened? :lol1:
In their office; "Whose gonna tell him?" "You tell him!" "No way, you do it! Oh crap here he comes!! Ahh sir minor fault found during your service...":brickwall
Glad it all getting sorted, and a wagon to play with too...

Lexx.
