performance mods, better running

hi all

i have a 1999 impreza turbo, im looking at getting the suspension and brakes upgraded, then i want to increase the bhp from what i think is approx 220? to ideally around 250bhp so not looking for a massive leap but this would be good or anything that makes the car run sweater, not that it doesnt already

I think somekind of down pipe has been recommended to me, hayward and scott i guess will do these? I have a TSL Firestorm B/B which is the best ive heard on a scooby tbh so i defo will not be changing that, dont know what the mid section is

What else is tehre i can do, 3 port solinod? panel filter?

Ta!

From your other posts you seem paranoid about the running of an Impreza.. If you are paranoid then dont even start playing the modification game, because unless your willing to spend BIG BUCKS you'll have a un-reliable car.

If you currently have a standard car, then probably the easiest and most reliable route to acheiving around 250bhp and an equivalent amount of torque would be to find a secondhand PPP ecu and intercooler hose, then just bolt on a decat centre section and rear box of your choice. :)
