I need a remap, what are my options.

As above, i currently have a P1 with a full decat and a induction kit. Its time for a remap or a new ecu and map. What are my options? im in the kent area. The only thing im not keen about at the moment is high speed runs whilst mapping.

Any advice appreciated

Cheers

Several of us went to POWER ENGINEERING for the day, I had mine re-mapped £550 + VAT, worth every penny and they set the car up perfect. I was over boosting/fuelling and sorted it all for me.

nip over to www.p1woc.co.uk and ask advice

loads of people there who have P1's with Tek3 maps, and most of them done by Bob Rawle in Swindon. contact www.brdevelopments.com

Its on the road mapping - but of course you will not be driving it on the rollers will you? the speeds are nothing to worry about. my first time was pooping it, but there is no pressure - you will only be asked to put your foot down when its safe. Most of the mappers know there own roads well, where the rozzers hide etc and will normally do a recce run first.

I have been maybe 4 times now with Bob, its nothing to worry about.

at that level, Tek3 will suffice, really only need to look at a ecu change at higher power.

Take your time in a P1 till its mapped, and put some octane booster in with your fuel;)
