Hi Andy,
My 95 scooby was doing the same. You mentioned earlyer you had removed a brass bit thats a dawes device it should have had a lock nut in the middle. Undo the lock nut and it should alter carnt remember witch way to turn it but one way increses the other way decreases dead easy it takes alot of guess work to get it set right and it can alter with time hope this helps

no it isn't a dawes device, the standard system has a restrictor in the bleed line, do not remove this restrictor as the boost will rise not drop.

Yeah i left it in !
I thought it was in a differnt pipe (in my minds eye!)

I by passed the solinoid & went for direct actauator pressure!

SAme thing again!

Are fault actautors ever a problem on scoobs?
(waste gate moves manualy)

I have a mate who has the fault gear for scoobs but hes not back untill next week!(Hes on a course somewhere)

i know what a dawes device is (only been using them for 4 years!) and know what he was discribing wasn't one, also in an earler post he asked if he should remove the brass restrictor!

sometimes i wonder why i bother!!!!!
