Would 440 injectors be to big?
As above, i have a 93 wrx ra import i am about to fit a Scott taylor chip, Full de-cat System from turbo down, K&N panel filter and a Walbro 255 pump. Do i need the 440's or not.
Cheers oh wise ones :) |
what turbo you got?
|
Not sure mate, code under bonnet is:GC8A47D had a quick look on turbo other day but not sure were to look
|
If the chip is plug and play leave the injectors alone.
The map on the chip was designed for 380 inj's Turbo will be a TD05, VF22 or 23 (I forget what was fitted when) Look on the Compressor cover, where the intake is from the filter comes in. It should be cast in/stamped there |
I will leave well alone then, cheers mate

380s will see up to around 300bhp at normal fuel pressure with all supporting mods so unless you are going for more power, why go to the expense and hassle of changing them. If, like Dyney says, the chip is meant for 380 cc injectors then it would be a BAD move. Just confirm that with Scott.

Cheers mate i think i will leave well alone. The wife uses it the most so i think 280/300 bhp will be enough for her.
