Keep hearing the word bandied about and Scooby drivers branded as Chavs so I thought I would ask the question.

I was wondering, how many of us class themselves as Chavs.
Do you wear Burberry or buy fake LV
Do you shop for Jewellery Elizabeth Duke (Argos)
Do you wear sportswear, loud trainers/ Hoodie and baseball cap?
Do you punctuate a sentence with 'Innit' of 'fcuking' or 'know what I mean'
Do you wear you mobile on a lanyard around your neck?
Have you got a thick gold chain that could double up as a dog lead?
Do you have any of the following buried in your back 'yard' - Shopping trolley, cars or car parts, white goods, etc?
Are yor kids called Chardonnay, Chantell, Wayne, Crystal?
Do you have more that 6 piercings or Tattoo's

If you answer yes to these simple questions then you may be just that person?

I have to say, though, that there are a number of people on this board for whom sportswear, thick gold chains and at leat one of the options listed above are an everyday way of life :D

iz i a chav? i dunno mate, i mite be coz I fink itz ded cool to bling up ma car, it's got a new air filter so itz gonna have 300 horses coz of that, and it's dead wikked and fast. I mite be a chav cos me bird chantelle haz just had our fif kid (he'z called Beckham, which is cool cos his little sis is Vicki, and then we've got the twins Rogan and Josh, and then our eldest, who's 18 now is Tommy - coz hilfigger is da man!) I also have some well nice burberry shirts and my gold chain is just fukkin massiv and that's so cool.

Anywayz, can't stay here, gotta go and nick some cider from the offie and drink it in the park and spit on the ground a lot

You clearly know you are not, nor will you ever be anything even closely resembling a bonafide chav but that doesn't stop you from jumping on the bling bandwagon every now and then. There's nothing wrong with a bit of pretending though you'll never be able to hold your own with the true Burberry brigade .

I got 23% which isn't bad really seeing as i wear a thick gold chain and have been known to wear a hoody when it gets cold

I do own them cut-off socks though and i don't care who knows it :)
