Just managed to find it on multiplay and then on BF2 - and says I have an older version!

Bollocks! Bit quick updating and so far the best download speed I can do is 4KB/sec

Sorry chaps - this Spec Forces and patch 1.12 has screwed everything tonight.

No worries DrEvil, with download speeds of 11.7KB/Sec (and falling !) looks like I will have to wait anyway !! :)

Any idea where I can get this downloaded from other than EA, as at the moment it'll be downloaded a week Sunday...

And I can't believe the server is upgraded already!

But 280 MB :eek2: Thats some chuffing patch, I remember when FULL games only took up x amount of MB (about 40MB), insert more "Back in the good old days etc..." :D

The multiplay FTP is giving me a solid 240kb/sec download speed (NTL 2 meg connection),so it isn't too bad.

Also worth noting is this patch will have to be re-applied *after* you install Special Forces :

Hmm... has been a bit of a poor show of late...

Although last night several were on until late.

SWBFII has shipped for me, but no sign of BF2SF yet....

I'm one to talk mind, had connection problems last night, tried to log back in and couldnt, lol :)

Was there for a while but it was a bit one sided for the 4 maps I played - you can only get killed so many times by Dae1964 or M/Morgue without getting cheesed off :D

Sorry, I haven't had time to play recently. Rest assured, if I do play BF2 it's on the SNAFU server :D ;)

Know what you mean. Had an absolute shocker last night, kept lagging to the point of being unplayable. Would be attacking someone, screen would freeze and then would wake up dead. Very frustrating. And got dumped to desktop twice.

All since the new patch, so I'm guessing thank you EA. :hjtwofing

And taking an age to load now when it didn't before. Guess I'll be off to get another gig of RAM then... ;)
