Driver training @ North Weald
 

There's a space left on the 11th of October if anyone is interested, I've booked a place, so thought I'd let you lot know, in case anyone else wants to play.

....to name but a few, along with some of the more entertaining, rather than educational, manoeuvres.

No one will be asked to do anything they are not happy with, except leave at the end!

The course has to be conducted in a safe controlled manner to ensure safety and enjoyment.

The only reason I spun off at Silverstone was to provide the crowd with some entertainment, I meant to do it, 'onest:Whatever_

Can't wait for this, got a set of tyres lined up, ready to replace the ones on the car after they get ripped up and shredded :D

You'll get to go round as a passenger in all of the above cars (and scare them in yours).

The S2000 has a real kick when changing from 2nd to 3rd at high revs :thumb:

2 days to go. can't wait, getting excited!! unfortunately, my old alloys don;t fit over the brake conversion:( and the weather is going to be dry, so looks like I'll have to get new tyres

Watch out for the flames from the discs too

I was there with a Lotus Elise, Honda S2000 and a Mazda MX5, crapped me pants a couple of times!!

You basically got to "unlearn" what you learnt for your driving test, and develop new techniques for steering, braking and accelerating.

I'm definately going again, perhaps next time we could do a ESC day!

I only spun twice, lost count how many the other spun!!

lewi, all these corners your getting give the money to tiny in return for more raffle tickets mate, at least you may get something from all these corners ;)

i've got 10 of them each for me and the missus so far - any extra helps. this IS the only charity i support along with the NSPCC.

no, really, i would love to do something like this, have done rally courses, 4x4, lotus etc but need to know how to corner tracks - for when the car is done (and flamer)
