Dead man was innocent.....
Police have now confirmed the man shot to death on the london tube had no connections to the london bombings!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4711021.stm ''A man shot dead by police hunting the bombers behind Thursday's London attacks was unconnected to the incidents, police have confirmed. A Scotland Yard statement said the shooting was a "tragedy" which was regretted by the Metropolitan Police. The man was shot dead after police followed him from a south London flat to Stockwell Tube station on Friday. Two other men have been arrested and are being questioned after bombers targeted three Tube trains and a bus. The statement read: "We believe we now know the identity of the man shot at Stockwell Underground station by police on Friday 22nd July 2005, although he is still subject to formal identification. Now now, until the full story be known we cannot apportion blame solely on the shoulders of our boys in blue. http://www.thesoulgirl.com/emotis/TutTut.gif

The full story is known...
He was innocent and the police deeply regret his death! http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0...190065,00.html It brings back memories of the glaswegian with the table leg! |
Does seem stange why he jumped the barrier and refused to stop...the plot thickens
|
Innocent - ie not linked to the recent terror attacks on London, however running from the Police suggests he was guilty of at least some wrong doings.
One less scumbag/potential extremist off the streets anyway. |
he was running away from the police he must have had something to hide. How long will it be before the 2 cops are suspended and end up on a manslaughter charge:Whatever_
|
innocent of what
|
He was probably just late for his train...
or.. if they were no-uniform police, he might have wondered why he was being followed. |
I blame Tony Blair.
|
if the police are armed surely they would warn the man to stop and that they were armed? ie "stop armed police" there for if he kept on running he's a fool if anything.

So, by your reckoning he was a non english-speaking asian with a medical condition? Phooey! Perhpas our police should learn ''stop, police'' in 27 languages also http://www.thesoulgirl.com/emotis/sigh2.gif |
Was he running from 3 white 'civilian' men whom he believed had targeted him for a revenge attack in relation to the bombings!
Who knows why he kept running??? The police men were in civilian clothing which doesn't help! |

At the end of the day one can only assume he was guilty of something due to the fact that he was running away. Maybe with a few more cases like this the arseholes that seem to run riot in this once great country would think twice about commiting the crimes that they do if they thought that they would be shot. Maybe he thought (as Mitchy has just said) he was being targeted by civilians with guns, hence the reason he ran.
Now some plonker will come along and say that I'm connected to al-Qaeda or that I support everything they do  My remark about him having a medical condition was a trite reponse to your post sir. |

And yes maybe the police should learn the basic commands in different languages, police forces in other countries manage to learn languges that are different to their own. |
Human Rights lawyers will have a field day with this.
