WRX type RA v-limited 2 door
 

I bought one of these about a week ago and just wondered if anyone else had one on here as i know they are very rare

Hi mate form what i know ( which aint alot ) They are stripped out version with a low ratio gerabox, great for 0-60's :D that all i know :Cry:

Look on here under the jap spec's. Paragraph 2.1.1. Its a my98 and they only made 1000

so they do a wrx type ra as well as a the wrx type r both as none sti's

well bugger me sideways I've never heard of a 2 door type RA before. very rare car matey :)

I wonder how many of them they actually are in this country. I'll post some pics of it as soon as i give it a wash

saw one of these for sale on monday at langtree garages, for me it just looked like a type r.

ive seen 1 for sale £12995.20000miles. i also know that it is fooked.the garage owner is a plonker with dodgy cars

I have sold a WRX Type R, basically its a 2 door wrx.

I thought type r was 2 doors and type ra 4 doors. Never heard a 2door type ra before

i had one a few years back

2 door no skirts roof vent wrx engine and it was quick even as standard

id buy another if mint best classic i owned for every day driver

Are you absolutely sure it was a type ra. Was it mentioned in the service book or the logbook etc? Maybe the previous owner damaged the tailgate and fitted one from a type ra. Or just slapped a sticker on it...

As LUCKO said, they do exist. Seen one in the flesh, was Chrisp's.

IIRC There was a thread on here a few years back that busted the two door Type RA thing, something to do with chassis numbers if i remember correctly.

I can't be ar$ed to search for it, even someone from Subaru in Japan confirmed it by email.

Pretty sure there's another thread as well where this is brought up again.

I've just had a quick look for that thread where it was confirmed by Subaru in Japan by email that there isn't a two door Type RA and can't find it, it has something to do with the chassis numbers being very similar that causes all the confusion between the two of them.

I did find this one post from the OP of this very thread which says what I'm saying though, I'm guessing he dug a little deeper to get the info. Note the thread below is a year later than this one we are using now.

It wasn't an RA though chap.
