Quick question about Hi Spec Motorsport Conversion

My local breakers have just had a RB5 come in and it has a 6 pot big brake conversion (hi spec motorsport),i need to find out will they fit my01?

Also how much should i pay?

warrenm2 28 April 2005 04:07 PM

why dont you phone hispec - they're in dartford....

I rang them but the guy said i would have to measure the clearance etc.

So i thought id ask some one here maybe they might be able to help.

Hi

Do a search on Hispec brakes, there are quite a few comments about them, you will be surprised!!

The front brakes are a straight swap.
I've got Hi-Spec 6 pots and they're ok. Others have had problems. Quality control seems to be lacking.

If they are cheap and you approach with your eyes open then you could end up with a good buy.

Don't DO Hi-Spec...you will regret it...do a search and you will see why...

Thanks for the info but as I said I`m not after the brakes, I`ve got a set of prodrive bad boys I`m more than happy with and wouldn`t touch that "other" comapny with a barge pole!
