Kenwood radio won’t tune in?
Just fitted my Kenwood head unit in MY04. Have to say not the best end result as it’s one where the front is motorised and you can see the workings ever side of the facia, but there’s no room to put the surround on……
Anyway, it won’t tune in? Any ideas? And yes I have checked that I plugged in the aerial! Cheers Chris |
Plugged in the power to the aerial?
|
Sounds like a promising comment! I used the audio leads adapter, is the power supply for the aerial separate?
Cheers Chris |
No, it's on the standard ISO connector. The blue wire, which is amp power/remote turn on, needs to be left connected into the ISO connector as it was when you got it...
From your PM, it sounds like you've disconnected this and are using it to turn on your amps - if that's what's been done, that's your problem :D |

Cheers Chris Mind I did the same thing as what you may have done, connected everything up refited the facia and the surround around the headunit, powered it up and no radio signal :Suspiciou :Suspiciou Had to remove it all and found I hadn't connected the aerial lead to the head unit https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...mbarrassed.gif https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...mbarrassed.gif All working fine now, and looks the dog nuts :D :D Mark :) |
