How about a separate "general election" forum.

I'd hate NSR to become dominated by political threads in the coming months.

whatdaya reckon?

Jye 11 February 2005 02:57 PM

Why, it's full of crap anyhow :D :D

paulr 11 February 2005 02:59 PM

You may aswell call it the "pslewis Clown Show Forum" ;)

TheBigMan 11 February 2005 03:08 PM

Maybe "left wing peasant forum" to separate the dickheads from the educated amongst us.

Flatcapdriver 11 February 2005 03:20 PM

It would get my vote!

2 out of those 3 words were correct.

Council house Labour voters dragging everyone else down.

Labour voters:

Thick
Feminists
Simplistic (unrealistic).

Conservative voters:

Educated (twits, possibly yes)
Respectable
Have morals
Have standards.

;)

LOL, which conservatives have you been looking at then :D

On the conservative side you forgot...

sleezy, power hungry, egotistical businessmen who don't care what happens to the country as long as the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor (or preferably poorer).

As far as I can see, neither Labour or the Cons are particularly worth voting for. Oh for some decent middle ground. It would be nice to be able to choose / vote for a party because you think they are going to do some good rather than having to choose the one you think is going to do least damage... :(

Thanks for increasing the yes vote.

"Rich stay rich and the poor stay poor".

Simplistic Politics at it's absolute best.

- Mysoginists

Kilroy voters:

Simplistic, but true :)

I think you'll find it's more like "we all are not equal - but we do have equality of opportunity".

Translation - lazy f$cks that don't work deserve to stay poor.

As an alternative, "Right-wing wristers" has a certain ring to it, don't you think?

I agree with that, you should only get stuff if you work for it. That's one of the reasons I'd like to see the benefits system overhauled (and have a lot of the benefits scrapped altogether).

However, I disagree that everyone currently has the same level of opportunities. It's a worthy goal, but realistically it's never going to happen, no matter who is in power...

Gordo 11 February 2005 04:00 PM

Would get my vote - I'm bored with the idealistic leftie tossers evangelising about the robbing socialist bunch currently telling us lies. Let them verbally masturbate each other in their own forum.

Who's forcing you to read it then? :Whatever_

SJ_Skyline 11 February 2005 04:02 PM

I voted yes.

I said at the time CWE shouldn't be scrapped.....

I guess in hindsight a floating forum that can take the overspill from NSR would be a good idea - at the time it was CWE, now as a general election looms an extra forum makes sense and in the future there is probably call for another.

SJ :)

BTW - CORNER!! :D

As long as we can put the blue rinse nazi right wing brigade in with them, I don't mind.

Gordo has already covered them.

David Lock 11 February 2005 04:32 PM

Don't suppose you could combine with a Charles & Camilla forum could you?????

Leslie 11 February 2005 04:35 PM

I think that the election will become so boring that the forum would die on its feet.

Les
